Player Registration

Registration Requirements

All participants in the South Florida Baseball League must complete online registration.

1. Age Requirement — Players must be at least 18 years old.
2. Online Registration — Players must complete the registration form and appear on the Eligible Players listing to participate in league-sanctioned events.
3. Registration Fee — $280 per season. Zelle or Venmo preferred. Pro-rated fees apply after the third game of the season.
4. Social Media — Follow the league on Facebook, X, YouTube, and Instagram for updates.
5. Terms Acceptance — Players must accept the terms and conditions and sign a release of liability form before participation.

Release of Liability

All participants must read and sign a comprehensive liability waiver. The document requires players to assume all injury risks and release the league, its officers, volunteers, game officials, facility owners, and sponsors from liability claims — even for their own negligence.

Players must also attest to being in good physical health with no conditions that could be aggravated by baseball participation.

Registration Form Fields

When you register, we'll collect:

• Name, phone, email, city, date of birth
• Primary and secondary baseball positions
• Division preference (18+, 28+, or 35+)
• County (Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade)
• Team name or Free Agent status

How to Register

Email playball@sfbl.com with your full name, phone, age, division preference, and team (or "free agent"). Pay your registration fee via Zelle or Venmo (see the Pay Online page) and we'll add you to the Eligible Players list within 24 hours.
